Bogey Hills Baptist Church is Partnering with The Child Advocacy Center of Northeast MO to prevent child sexual abuse in St. Charles County!

CACNEMO serves child victims of sexual abuse, physical abuse, and children who witness violence. Their mission is to respond to child abuse through a supportive team approach to reduce the trauma to children and their families. In 2021, 889 of CACNEMO’s cases involved sexual abuse. The St. Peter’s zip code of 63376 was identified by Missouri’s Children’s Trust Fund as having one of the highest rates of substantiated child sexual abuse cases in Missouri.

In response, CACNEMO created a multi-strategy plan to prevent child sexual abuse in this area and is committed to empowering adults to prevent child sexual abuse. Protecting children is an adult’s responsibility. CACNEMO strives to create safe environments and provide education and training, that will empower adults to act.
